Marie Washtag was born and is living in Novi Sad, Serbia (in past Yugoslavia). She is profession of economist, but by preferences of her whole life, she is writer. The economic profession was not a limitation, to devote all free time to fiction – discovering and improving - and then writing. She deals with contemporary life issues that concern every person, regardless of where they liv in the world.
Today Marie Washtag is a writer of three novels.
Her first published novel is the "COSSACK’S HOUSE" which is an understandable topic of people’s relationship in the struggle for succession. Through the life and customs of the modern Cossack people on the river Don, the eternal theme of interpersonal relations regarding the sanctuary of the immovable property of the house was told. The successor is a young, attractive woman – a client, who becomes a victim of lazy and cunning people. But, as always, in the life of unpredictable circumstances and trades, the writer also tells about different people in this novel.
The second novel "LILLY? LILLY AMONG CLOUDS" is a topic that is most troubling the contemporary young world - and that is the drug, with all the problems that it is following. This topic is a striking socio-political topic of the XXI century, with wars, violence, crime, prostitution and unemployment. The Author talking about the young people of today, crucified between salvation and destruction, hope and despair.
The third novel "AN UNEXPECTED MESS" with his title already speaks for itself. THIS IS A NOVEL WITH PSYCHOLOGICALDRAMA, BUT NOT JUST THAT, BECAUSE IT ALSO CONTAINS A STORY OF HUMAN SOLIDARITY THAT CONQUERS AND ENRICHES.
